Smooth and Healthy Skin While You're Pregnant

Pregnancy hormones cause huge changes to almost every part of your body, including your skin. Here are some tips to help keep your skin normal and healthy:

Check your normal beauty products
Check the products that you normally use when you're not pregnant. You may find that some products are unsuitable for pregnant skin.

Stop using soap
Soap removes oils from the skin, so use a moisturizing body wash to maintain essential oils in pregnant skin.

Take short baths
Prolonged baths dehydrate the skin. Use a moisturizing bath soak to re-hydrate.

Protect your skin
While you are pregnant, your skin may tan or burn more easily. Use sunscreen
and other products with UV filters, and make sure you pay special attention to exposed areas such as your face and hands.
